Tutoring services for families

• Private sessions are $50 per 60-minute session, held live online through Zoom.
• There are no contracts and no required session packages.
• Northstar does not charge for missed sessions.
• Payment is made directly to Northstar, primarily through Zelle.
• Scheduling and changes are arranged directly with Northstar, subject to availability.

Partner programs

Northstar works with schools, districts, and youth-serving organizations under the following partner terms. Rates are per completed 60-minute session and are based on monthly volume:

• Pilot — $45 per session: 1–9 completed sessions per month. No monthly minimum.
• Program — $42 per session: 10–39 completed sessions per month. Requires at least 10 completed sessions in the billing month.
• High-Volume Program — $38 per session: 40+ completed sessions per month. Requires at least 40 completed sessions in the billing month.

• No long-term contract and no monthly minimum at the Pilot tier.
• No setup fees.
• Monthly invoice for completed sessions, Net 15 payment terms.
• No charge for missed student sessions.
• Small groups, intensive test-prep programs, custom curriculum work, and dedicated tutoring blocks are priced separately.
• Northstar does not take a revenue share from partner organizations.

Partner rates are distinct from the standard family rate of $50 per 60-minute session.

No guaranteed outcomes

Every student is different. Tutoring supports learning, but Northstar does not guarantee specific grades, test scores, or timelines.

Academic integrity

Tutoring is meant to build understanding. Northstar will not complete graded work or exams on a student's behalf.
